Carpets and sofas take the worst of a home. Spilled wine, sandy feet, pet hair, and the fine dust that drifts in through open terrace doors all work their way into the fibres. A vacuum only gets the surface. We go deeper, lifting the grime and the stains so the fabric looks and smells clean again.
What we clean
We treat each item on its own terms, because a wool rug and a synthetic sofa need different care.
Carpets and rugs
We pre-treat the stains, then clean the whole carpet so you do not end up with clean patches surrounded by grime. Wool, synthetic and natural fibre rugs are all handled with the right method and the right products, and we always check colour fastness before we start.
Sofas and armchairs
Fabric upholstery holds onto dust, oils from skin, and the occasional spill. We clean the cushions, the arms and the back, and we pay attention to the seams where dirt collects. The result is a sofa that looks brighter and smells neutral rather than lived in.
Mattresses
Mattresses collect dead skin, dust and sweat over time. A periodic clean keeps them fresher and helps with allergies. It is a quick job that most people never think to book until they see the difference.
Why it matters in a Marbella home
Marbella living is hard on soft furnishings. The climate means doors and windows stay open for much of the year, and that lets in dust, pollen and the occasional fine sand from the beach. Homes in Elviria and Cabopino, close to the dunes and the shore, notice it most.
Then there are the rentals. A holiday let in Nueva Andalucía or on the Golden Mile sees a new set of guests every week or two, and the sofa and carpets take a beating. We clean soft furnishings as part of our holiday rental changeovers, so each new arrival walks into a place that looks and smells fresh rather than like the last guests.
Pet owners feel it too. Dogs and cats shed, and the hair works deep into carpet pile where a vacuum struggles. A proper clean lifts it out and leaves the room noticeably lighter.
