Marbella is two towns in one. There is the old town, the Casco Antiguo, where the streets are narrow and the apartments sit above tapas bars around the Plaza de los Naranjos. Then there is the modern strip that runs from the Marbella Club Hotel east towards Elviria and Cabopino, where the villas get bigger and the gardens get harder to keep on top of.
